Brand Focus: Oriflame UK

Over the past two months or so, I've been trying out lots of different products to try and get my hair in better shape because it has been through a LOT in the last few years and I'm trying to get it as healthy as possible.
This product from Oriflame UK has helped a lot, it's a serum that you put into damp hair to help split ends. It's called the HairX Restore Therapy Split Ends Serum. I only use a tiny bit each time, around one pump and its enough. After I put it in, and blow dry my hair I've noticed its not as dry as it used to be, it's getting smoother and breaking less which of course, is the desired result.

One of the best things about this product, is the scent. It is to die for, it smells warm but yet sweet? I don't know, I'm awful at describing this kind of thing, a common trend among beauty bloggers I've noticed!

The Gold Chain

I honestly own about 7 chunky gold chains, mostly from Primark, Claires or eBay, nothings too expensive or anything, but all loved equally. However, my darling mother surprised me with this little beauty on Christmas morning.

I saw it a while back in a quirky little vintage store where I live months back, and when I went in to buy it, it was gone... so sad. At least I know now why it was gone...

The chunky chain is something I love, and with the flower detail it makes it a real statement piece. I wore it out with a black cami and a tartan skirt over Christmas and it just speaks for itself. I feel so lucky to own such a unique piece like this. Thanks Momma Bear! <3

New In: GOSH Make-up

Eeerrmmaaagooodddd (that's my excited noise!)

How amazing is this palette? My best friends momma got it for me for Christmas and I don't want to use it because its so pretty!

I have some other eye shadows from GOSH and they are some of my favourites. They are very blendable, smooth and super pigmented. This palette has so many colours, but all are very useable in my opinion and I can't wait to finally start using them.. . I'll let you know how I get on and maybe do a FOTD post with it.

#bbloggersWLW

Hi ladies,
Back again with another WLW post, how are you all doing this week?

I know I said last week that I would be doing a food diary but to be honest, I just didn't have time this week but I do have a recipe for you to try out (see below)

This week was great, I started running with my sister, walked our puppy Ecko a lot, and even went to my first zumba class with my best friend. Zumba was my favourite, it was so funny, and we worked up a proper sweat! We loved it so much we're going back this week, and I'm taking my first boxcercise class tonight! Excercise overload much?

This week I have been taken inspiration from you guys, you're posts helped a lot this week. As did ideas of other bloggers, Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter been one with her ongoing hashtag #glittergetsfitter on Twitter and Instagram - are any of you on instagram? I'm at natashaswonderland - follow me :)

Another blogger that's been doing great stuff this week is Gemma of gemsmaquillage, with her insta updates on healthyhappygemma and her food diaries there has been a lot of healthy inspiration going on this week!

I also haven't had a fizzy drink in 6 days and counting, coming from a self confessed diet coke addict this is a big deal! Can't wait to read all your posts :)

Honey Chicken

I love honey chicken but wanted to make a healthier option as apposed to what I normally get from a Chinese place so here we go!

You will need:
Plain chicken fillets
Honey
Light soy sauce
Chili
Salt & Pepper

Step 1: Chop up your chicken fillets into strips and marinate with 2 teaspoons of honey, and 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, and some salt & pepper to season.

Step 2: Pick some veggies, whichever you personally prefer - I like sweet peppers, mushrooms, chickpeas and red onion. Chop finely and fry them on the pan with a little water (instead of oil) to soften to your liking.

Step 3: Put marinated chicken onto another pan and cook until done (obviously....) add water to the pan if you feel its getting to sticky for it, works a wonder over oil.

Step 4: Decide if you want rice, pasta or sweet potatoe to go with it, and prepare accordingly. I like rice the best, I usually just stick to boil in the bag because honestly, I can't cook it otherwise.

Serve up and enjoy!
I love this dish, it's quick and easy and SO tasty!
Bare in mind, I am not a chef and this is just an experiment that happened to work out so feel free to tweek and change it to your own liking. If  you do, let me know :)

Brand Focus: Mallzee

* Before I write this post, this is not a sponsored post, all opinions are my own*

A few months back, I wrote a post on a new app called Mallzee. Since then, the brand have updated and revamped the app, and been realistic, it's still as fab as ever. Pulling together two million items of clothing from over 200 top retailers, the app then tailors the selection to the pieces best suited to the individual user It's literally like having a personal shopping on your pocket. I thought I'd let you little wonders know about it, because I've been having a lot of fun over Christmas with it.

There's so many different stores after getting involved, it's worth a look in, ASOS. Miss Selfridge, Urban Outfitters etc. It's also free which is great because personally, I hate paying for apps, it really annoys me.

If that doesn't convince you to look into it, this will, it's good enough for Leanne Woodfull, it's good enough for you.... Happy shopping guys!

#BloggersWLW

So, I seen a tweet from the lovely Jennifer on Twitter looking for bloggers to get together to take part in #BloggersWLW, and decided YES, I want to do this. It's all Jennifer's idea so I'm going to link her post here so you can read it for yourself and get involved if you want.

Today is my first #WLW post, and today I'm going back to Slimming World after a naughty 3 weeks off over the Christmas period. I'm super excited and super terrified all at the same time, but hey ho, I enjoyed Christmas but now I'm excited to get back into the swing of thing's.

As this is m first post I'm kind of unsure what to talk about, but I am really excited to start experimenting with food, and cooking lots of different thing's and for my post next week I'm going to document a kind of food diary so maybe you guy's can get some idea's. Every week I'm also going to keep you updated on how I'm feeling, any tips of picked up or any recipes I've learned along the way.

Make sure you go over and read Jennifer's post so you can get all the details and meet all the other lovely bloggers that are getting involved!!

Seventeen Phoarr Paint

I wasn't joking when I said I was taking thing's in Wonderland more seriously in 2014. Hiiiiii - today I'm back with a review of a product I have been loving in 2013, and continue to do so in 2014 and that is the 17 Phowarr paint concealer. Is that not the coolest name ever by the way? I always laugh when I say it!

Anyway, I think 17 have really been stepping it up lately, a few other of my favourite products of theirs are their lipsticks and there all dolled up mascara (currently on offer for a fiver in boots!) but I shall discuss those in good time my loves.

My shade is in fair, and it matches my skin tone so well, I was super impressed when I first used it. I love the little pot it comes in too, it makes it really compact and the mirror makes it easy to travel with in case you need to touch up during the day. The consistency itself is something I really like too, its thick without been cakey and doesn't crease under the eye, which is fabulous considering the dark circles I'm prone to getting. Although my skin is fairly okay and I don't get too many spots it has helped when the odd little daemon attacks my poor face!

At under 10 euros I really do believe that this is work picking up and trying it out!
