The Go To

Hi Guy's!

This evening I'm posting what I like to call 'The-Go-To', simply because that's exactly what it is. Acid wash jeans, a white t-shirt that is easily 3 sizes too big for me, and some leopard print pumps. I was heading off to do some thing's in town so it's really casual. I did however dress it up with this blazer I snatched up in a charity shop for less than €1 - which, by the way, I'm blaming Kate for ;) I matched the blazer to my lipstick which is MAC's Girl About Town, a glossy hot pink that is super pretty in my opinion!

I'm also featuring my new ring's.. The one with the lilac stone is one I picked up from a local music & art fair, and the one with the little cat is from e-bay. I've named him Lewis in case your wondering!

I'm posting a #throwbackthursday blog post tomorrow so come check that out too!

Mani Who?

Hello my loves...

Today I'd like to share with you a new experience of mine. Last week I got my first Mani-Q. When I first heard of this I literally said Mani who? I'd never heard of it before. Basically it's a 2 week non-chip, gel finish manicure over your own nails. This mean's there's no damage to your nails the way there is with getting gel nails. I've had a terrible experience with gel's so I'm not keen to ever rely on them again but because I've grown my own nails this summer I was able to get one of these manicures. It was a gift from my Mom for my birthday and I used the voucher last week before I headed off to Eminem at Slane here in Ireland and nearly a week later there still going strong.

I got them done in a salon where I live called LA Beauty by the gorgeous Laura who owns the salon. I go there for everything and honestly, if I ever decide to move country she's coming with me. I really do trust her completely. The experience itself was so relaxing, it wasn't very time consuming which was great as I got it done between appointments and although I didn't have to pay for it I know that they cost €20 or €17 with a student discount. How great is that?

If this is something that's available in your area I would highly recommend it - such a great idea!

21 at last

Hey guys!

So a couple of weeks ago I turned 21! 21 at LAST... I've always been the baby of my group of friends so it was nice to finally celebrate my 21st birthday! I'm not a huge fan of big part's or thing's like that so I just had a small gathering in my house with some of my cloesest friends, my mom, and my brother and sister! My Mom and my friends spoiled me so much I wasn't expecting anything really and I ended up with an iPhone 4S which I was estatic about! I got so many other nice thing's, had so much fun and my cake was brilliant. A white chocolate and cream cake with a picture of my Benjamin and I on it :) It's tradition in Ireland I think for baby picture's to be on display on a 21st cake but nope, I got my cat. I like to be different, what can I say? ;)

Anyway, I had such a great night I just wanted to show you some pictures :)

 Happy Birthday to me :)

 My fantastic cake.

My fave's - Shirley, Katie, Maryanne, Paddy, Myself, Lisa and Aislinn.

Lisa and I.

My Mom & I. My best friend.

Maybelline Colour Tattoos

Hello my darlings!

I'm back today with something that I've been actually loving the last few weeks! They've been around for months but it's only now that I've seen a colour that made me stop and think "yes, you must be mine", and that's this stunning colour in 'Pomegranate'. Cream eye shadows have never really been my thing because, I'll be honest, I'm not the best at applying them. I seen this colour when Zoe showed it in a favourite's video. Alas, do you think that my local Boots would have it in stock? No, of course not. Just my luck. However, I found it while wandering around one of the bigger Boots in the city and snapped it right up!

I applied it first for a wedding I went to a couple of weeks ago and it's such a nice, shimmery burgundy colour. The lasting power is great and it doesn't crease at all. This little beauty has defiantly made me more open to using more cream eye shadows in the future so any recommendation's tweet me :)

The Pink Of All Pinks

Hey my lovelies :)

I'm a sucker for pink lipsticks. I have nude pinks, coral pinks, hot pinks but nothing like beauty that is MAC's Candy Yum Yum! It's a bright, nearly neon pink that has been on my lip's a lot this summer especially for festivals, gig's etc. It's such a fun colour and anyone who, like me, is a fan of pink, should defiantly take a look into this!

It's a matte finish meaning it can be slightly drying but a gloss, balm or re-application will that out and trust me when I say it is worth it! I honestly can't get enough of it!

What do you think of Candy Yum Yum? Would you dare?

I'm Natasha, and I'm a bad blogger

Hello,
Do you remember me? I'm Natasha, the worlds worst blogger!
I haven't been around much lately but there's been a lot going on in real non-blogging life and it's just taken over but I am back, so hiiii :)

There's been lot's happening as I said, I got a letter the other day offering me my honours degree so that was amazing, I had a best friend's birthday and my little sister's birthday too! I've also been working loads too, and making plans for this weekend (The Killers in Pheonix Park, Dublin!) and for my birthday (I'm 21 very soon eeek!!)

I've been thinking about making a shedule for Wonderland, what do you guys think? Or should I just blog when I feel like it? I'm not sure as I enjoy both with the blog's I read...

While I'm thinking about that, here's an idea of what's coming up in the following week;

- Birthday plans and preparation
- June Favourites
- June's blogger of the month ;)
- A very exciting collaboration with Malzee.com

So for those of you who have been sending me e-mails and tweets thank you so much!! & don't worry I'm not going anywhere ;)

One last thing.....

Sunday Funday

Good afternoon!
How is everyone today?
Just wanted to share an outfit I quite liked with you today! I'm wearing my new hat which I love, my skater skirt that I don't wear enough and my new shoes that are a gorgeous shade of green, so nice in fact I don't ever want to take them off! Anyway... What do you think? I really want one of these hats in bright pink or in orange, what do you think? too much?

Today I went to a local garden festival to see my little sister dance, and her two best friends who truth be told are practically my little sister's too! I was as proud as ever cause she nailed it, as always :) and then I spent money I didn't have in Pennys/Primark, but I'll leave that for another day ;) I'm back in work tomorrow, boo. Why must the weekend go so fast? :(

Also tomorrow is July 1st which mean's my birthday is soooooooon. I am excited. I'll be dress shopping soon so any suggestions tweet me, or get me on my new facebook page!

That's it till next time;

Sea Sessions 2013

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working for Sea Sessions surf & music festival which is held in Bundoran, Co. Donegal every summer! It was AMAZING! Easily one of the best experiences of my life! I got to put my degree into action, got to learn so much about festivals and events, I met so many lovely people that felt like family all weekend, and I got to meet some really cool artists including Bastille.. :) If you haven't heard of it, Google it, your missing out! I'm still recovering after it but I'll be back this week with some more beauty and fashion posts! Just thought I'd drop in and say to you guys!

Are any of you on Instagram? Follow me - natashaswonderland :)

90's life

The 90's trend has been everywhere recently and I've been no exception to this trend. The Spice Girls, Will Smith, Jelly Shoes, Scrunchies... Oh how I miss been a kid sometimes. I was a pokemon nerd, and proud might I add. But now that I am 20 and obviously can't get away with the exact fashion I did back in the day so here's a little improvisation! Love my McCauley Culkin shirt to be honest, I know it's not everyone's taste but hey, each to their own! See the sun in the background? I paired my MAC Lady Danger lipstick with this outfit, some leopard print pumps and my spiked chain!

Yeah summer lasted a week in Ireland this year! Haha.. Just a quick post today anyway! ;) how's everyone today?

Blogger of the Month #1

Hey everyone,
Hope your all doing good on this lovely Saturday evening! This evening in Wonderland I'm about to introduce a new feature - Blogger of the Month!

I wanted to do this because I believe in the expression credit where credit is due, and it's a chance to give some blog's I've been loving a little extra attention! Every month will feature a different blogger that I think has stood out to me that month. It's also a chance to show all you guy's the blog's I read and maybe you'll find a new one you like too!

Aaaaanyway, This month my chosen blogger is Becky from  Lipgloss and Lashes!

I've only been reading Becky's blog for a few months and I love it! She's a 19 year old Marketing student from across the pond (England..) with a love for all thing's beauty and she writes her reviews and opinions on this little space in the net, and I for one am glad she does!

Becky says "Beauty means a lot to me because it gave me my confidence back. I suffered with acne for about 7 or 8 years which really took its toll on my confidence and self esteem". Blogging allowed her to get her confidence back, because it allowed her to share her love of make up and beauty products
and to meet other people who had a similar point of view.

By reading her posts its clear to see that she loves what she does and has a genuine passion for writing and for interacting with followers and readers, "My favorite thing is when I receive lovely comments from readers, it cheers me up so much and makes me feel that it's worth my time to write posts, as I spend tonnes of time planning, taking photo's and writing posts!"

So if your looking for a new read, hop on over to Lipgloss and Lashes!

You can also find Becky on

The Kate Moss collection

Hi lovelies! Today I'm going to tell you about something I've been obsessing over, and I know I'm very late on this one but so on and so forth.... The vampy lip. I love the vampy, dark lip look but at the minute I'm not brave enough to pull off a super dark one so I went in search of an alternative for the moment anyway and Ta-Da - The Kate Moss collection! This shade is number 107, and is a dark berry red. It's easy to wear and I actually really love it! I find myself reaching for it more & more... Opinions?

New In - eBay bargin

Good morning :)
This is just a quick post to show you the latest addition to my wardrobe - my hat! I've been looking for something like this for quite some time but I wasn't willing to part with € 30+ for one when I wasn't even sure if I liked it on, or if it suited me etc. It arrived on Tuesday and I knew I had got myself a winner! In fact I've just ordered one in a burgundy colour too! It was under £5 which worked out to be € 5.50 so only a fraction of the price of what I was seeing in the shop's :)

If you like what you see you can see them here, and also they come in a few different colours!

Let me know what you guys think!

Keep Smiling! x

I wish I was a punk rocker....

with flowers in my hair. I love that song.... Anyway, Hi guys! I've been super busy lately, working my day job and with Sea Sessions (A surf & music festival on the beach here!) but I managed to snap some outfit pictures while the sun was out. Granted there not the best but I'm still getting used to all this to be honest *blogger newbie alert* so thanks for all the patience and the lovely comments I've been getting on Twitter! Your all little wonders...see what I done there?! I got this dress in New Look and it's so comfortable! My belt is one I wear far too often from Primark/Pennys, as is my headband! My chain is from Republic and I mean I throw it over everything I wear! Gold, crosses and peace signs? LOVE.

My nail varnish here is a stunning pink one from No.7 in Boots and it lasted me over a week without a single chip. Amazing. I never wear pink varnish, or pink anything really? But this is going to be sticking around!

So hows everything doing?

May Favorites

Hello, hello :)
Welcome back to Wonderland, today's post is going to be my May favorite's. I'm going to share with you lovely lot some products I've been loving that little bit extra during the month of May so let's get started...

Boot's Rose Water & Glycerin Toner

I have super sensitive skin, in fact I've been on medication from a young age due to horrible acne. These day's I have much better skin, I'm quite lucky to have clear skin (for the most part anyway!). I have tried so many skincare products in the past, some with horrible results and some with next to no results, BUT this rosewater toner from Boot's is amazing! Yes, I said amazing. This is my 2nd or 3rd bottle this year and I'm still in love.I use it every night after taking off my make-up and all that jazz. It smells divine and really does help my skin a lot. If you haven't already, give it a try - you won't regret it!

Maybelline Vivids

I'm not going to talk too much about this here because I already spoke in detail about it here, but I have been loving, loving, loving this! How many times can a person say loving in one sentence!? The colour I've been obsessing over is Hot Plum, which is a super bright shade of purple that's suitable for a day time or a night time look! Perfect...

Barry M in Ridley Road

This is a bit of a controversial one now because when I went in to pick up another one....or four, they were gone?! As in removed of the shelf due to issues with the quality standards or something? Is this just in the Boots where I live or has anyone else seen it? Anyway, rant over, this textured polish in Ridley Road is a beautiful mint green colour and I love it so much. The textured effect means its very hard to mess up which is great when you have no patience like me. It's lasting power is impressive too, 5 day's without a chip and opaque in only 2 coats!

Spiked Chain

I've seen this style of chain floating around a while ago, and I really liked it. I'm a huge fan of anything spiked or studded so you can see why I like this so much. However, been a poor student I couldn't splash out on some of the nicer ones so the budget friendly student in me came out, hit eBay and found this beauty. It was € 1.17 including P&P, How could you wrong? I got mine in 'gun metal' silver but these are also available in silver and gold. I'd love one in metallic pink or purple. Hmm....

NARS blush in Orgasm

If you've been around Wonderland for a while you'll know I received this stunning NARS blush as a present and it's certainly been my go to blush throughout May. It's such a pretty colour with just the right amount of shimmer to it. It's so gorgeous I think I'll be loving it throughout June too...

So that my little beauties are all of my May favourite's - my first post of this kind, and hopefully not my last! I quite liked sharing my monthly picks with you guy's!

What have you all been loving this month? Any recommendations for products to look out for in June? :)

Keep Smiling! x
